What CBD dosage should you choose based on your needs?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is becoming increasingly popular due to its many health benefits and its non-toxic nature. In fact, regardless of the condition or symptoms you’re trying to relieve, the dosage of cannabidiol determines its effectiveness. But how do you know which one is right for you? CBD oils contain very different amounts of cannabinoids. Regardless of the desired effect or the symptoms you’re trying to relieve, the dosage of cannabidiol is crucial to the product’s effectiveness.

There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as there is no universal dose that works for everyone. In fact, the ideal dose of CBD varies from person to person. It is based on five factors: the cannabidiol content, the person’s weight, their body chemistry, their medical condition and the severity of their symptoms, as well as the quality of the product.

What are the dosage guidelines for CBD?

Learning about CBD isn't as easy as it seems. There are many factors to consider when starting to use this cannabinoid. When purchasing a cannabidiol product, the question of dosage arises. How much CBD should you take per day? How often should you take CBD supplements? What concentration of cannabidiol should you choose for your CBD oil?

As you can see, there are many factors to consider when choosing your CBD dosage. This number may increase depending on the specific CBD product you’re using, which can be consumed in various ways. All of these factors affect what is known as the endocrine system (ECS). To create a comprehensive guide on using CBD, we’ve identified all the factors you need to consider: spectrum, concentration, and frequency.

What CBD concentration is appropriate for each use?

The question of which CBD oil concentration to choose often arises when you’re trying it for the first time. No medical organization has yet officially issued a statement on the recommended dosage for purchasing and using CBD. Indeed, while CBD is used for its health benefits, it’s important to consider different concentrations based on the patient’s needs.

The concentration of cannabidiol (CBD) in oils is an important factor to consider when determining the appropriate dosage for each person. In fact, the CBD content in oils varies considerably depending on the intended use.

  • For Comfort and Comfort+ use

For general wellness, a CBD oil containing 5% or 10% CBD may be sufficient. These low-concentration CBD oils are often used to help relieve stress, anxiety, and mild pain.

  • For diagnosed physical and mental illnesses

However, for people with diagnosed physical or mental health conditions, a higher CBD concentration may be necessary for optimal symptom relief. It is therefore important to choose a CBD oil with a concentration of 15% CBD or higher, depending on your specific needs.

  • For a Good Night's Sleep

For people with sleep disorders, we recommend starting with a CBD oil that has a concentration of 5% or 10%. These dosages are generally sufficient to provide a relaxing effect and improve sleep quality.

  • To relieve certain chronic conditions

The recommended CBD dosage depends on the condition or symptoms to be relieved. For example, according to studies, a concentration of 15 to 20% may effectively relieve certain types of pain and inflammation in people with polyarthritis or multiple sclerosis.

Notes:

It is important to note that these concentrations are general recommendations and that the optimal dosage may vary from person to person. Similarly, we are referring here to full-spectrum oils, which you can find in our store. What determines the CBD dosage?

It’s important to determine what effects you’re hoping to achieve from CBD before deciding to use it. This may seem like a fairly simple decision, but the effects of using CBD can be complex and require factual information. For example, someone looking to use CBD to relieve anxiety will use a different product than someone seeking pain relief, better sleep, or stress reduction in their daily life.

CBD dosage is a crucial factor in using CBD oil to relieve various conditions or symptoms. To adjust the dosage based on the body’s response, a 4-week method divided into three phases is often used:

  • Period A

This is a period during which you start with an average of 3 drops in the morning and evening, taken sublingually. This is the most important phase, as it helps us determine the correct dosage. It lasts 15 days.

  • Period B

This is a period during which the dosage is adjusted based on your body’s response—either by increasing the number of drops or by increasing the percentage of CBD in the oil. At the end of Period A, you assess the effects of the CBD and decide whether or not to move on to Period B. This period lasts 7 days.

If no improvement is observed, increase the concentration of CBD in the oil immediately. If the effects are mild or moderate but not sufficient, increase the number of drops, taking care not to exceed 15 drops per day.

  • Period C

Period C, which also lasts 7 days, allows you to fine-tune the dosage if the effects are noticeable but not sufficient to provide relief after periods A and B. In this case, you can either increase the number of drops (if the maximum of 15 drops per day has not been reached) or increase the CBD concentration in the oil.

Notes:

It is crucial to adjust the CBD dosage based on each person’s condition, needs, and sensitivity. Similarly, everyone reacts differently to the products they use. The same is true for CBD.

How important is adaptation?

Dosing CBD oil is an important topic for those seeking to use this compound to benefit their health and overall well-being. It’s also important to note that CBD’s effectiveness depends on individual sensitivity and duration of use. The effects of this cannabinoid are exponential, meaning that the duration of use is often more important than the amount of CBD ingested. Some people have no sensitivity to hemp, which may explain the lack of effects in certain cases. This is why it’s important to continue taking CBD consistently in order to experience its long-term benefits.

Therefore, it is crucial to adjust the dosage based on each individual case. After all, each need requires an appropriate dosage.

Summary: Getting Started with CBD

As you can see, the right CBD dosage depends on many factors that vary from person to person. By following this approach and taking the time to find the optimal dosage, you can fully enjoy the benefits of CBD. In fact, it’s always best to start with a low dosage and gradually increase it based on the effects you experience.
