Recipe for Making CBD Coconut Cream

Step 1: Decarboxylate the CBD flowers

To make CBD coconut cream, you’ll first need to decarboxylate your flowers. This is an essential step that activates all the cannabinoids, including CBD. To do this, start by chopping your CBD flowers into small pieces before spreading them out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake them in the oven for 40 minutes at 110 degrees.

Step 2: CBD-Infused Coconut Cream

Next, heat the cream over very low heat and add the decarboxylated CBD flowers. Let it simmer for 1 hour, stirring regularly.

Finally, strain the mixture to remove the CBD flowers, let it cool, and then store it in the fridge.

Step 3: Shape the CBD coconut bars

In a bowl, mix together the shredded coconut, CBD coconut cream, and syrup. Set aside the resulting mixture to make the filling for the CBD Bounty bars. To do this, simply shape the mixture with your hands so that they look like real Bounty bars.

Next, place the CBD coconut bars on parchment paper laid out on a baking sheet or a large plate, and put them in the fridge for 1 hour. This step will allow the CBD coconut bars to harden so they don’t crumble into the chocolate when you coat them.

Step 4: The Chocolate Glaze

Melt your dark baking chocolate with coconut oil in a double boiler. The coconut oil is optional, but it will make the chocolate more liquid and therefore easier to work with, while also giving it a glossy finish. You can also add 2–3 drops of your CBD oil to enhance the relaxing effects of your Bounty bars.

Once your chocolate is completely melted, dip your future CBD Bounties one by one into the chocolate using your two forks. Be sure to coat all of the coconut thoroughly. Once coated in chocolate, place your CBD Bounties back on the parchment paper and return them to the fridge for about 45 minutes.
