Tips for Finding the Right CBD Dosage for Daily Use

More and more consumers are being won over by the therapeutic promises of CBD. But these are much more than just promises; CBD does indeed appear to offer real health benefits. However, it’s still important to know the correct daily dosage of CBD.

There is no universal rule on this matter. For example, a 30% CBD oil will require fewer drops than a 5% oil to take effect. Other factors, such as a person’s metabolism or consumption habits, also have a significant impact on the required dosage. Here are a few tips to help you determine the right CBD dosage for you.

The Benefits of CBD Oil

CBD, or cannabidiol, is one of the cannabinoids found in the hemp plant. Since its legalization in France, CBD has been available in many forms, such as CBD flowers, extracts, e-liquid, and, above all, oils.

Without a doubt, CBD oils take the top spot in terms of popularity. Their main advantage is how easy they are to use. You can choose to take them sublingually—by simply placing a few drops under your tongue—or apply them topically directly to the desired area.

Numerous studies have demonstrated the potential therapeutic effects of CBD oil on health. These effects include, in particular:

  • anti-inflammatory drugs
  • pain relievers
  • antidepressants
  • combating sleep disorders and insomnia
  • reducing stress and anxiety disorders
  • and even alleviating the symptoms of certain serious conditions such as Parkinson's disease and multiple sclerosis

To provide you with a product of unparalleled quality, High Society ensures that all of its CBD oils are full-spectrum. Thanks to this feature, the ingredients in High Society CBD oils contain all the cannabinoids found in the hemp plant. This enhances the oils’ effectiveness and purity—and, as a result, your experience.

The Importance of CBD Concentration

Before even addressing the topic of dosage, it’s essential to focus on CBD concentration. Not all CBD products are the same, especially when it comes to the amount of CBD they contain. The higher the CBD concentration, the fewer drops you’ll need to achieve the desired effects. Conversely, a product with a low CBD concentration will have a milder effect and may therefore require more drops each day.

The key is to find the right balance between concentration and dosage. In that sense, if you’re taking a large number of drops every day, that means you should switch to the oil with a higher concentration.

The High Society CBD oils are available in various concentrations, ranging from5% to10%. For a 5% oil, each drop contains 2.5 mg of CBD. For a 10% oil, the dosage is 5 mg of CBD per drop. Please refer to each product’s description for the dosage per drop.

A dosage based on body weight

We keep mentioning it, and for good reason: weight is an important factor. Just like metabolism, weight greatly influences the amount of product needed for the effects of CBD to take full effect.

The heavier you are, the more CBD your body will need to feel its effects. If you’re new to taking CBD, there’s a simple way to determine the ideal dosage based on your weight. Allow 1 to 5 mg of CBD for every 5 kilograms. For example, a woman weighing 55 kg will feel perfectly comfortable taking about 55 mg of CBD per day, which is 11 drops of 5% oil. Meanwhile, a man weighing around 90 kg can aim for 90 mg per day, or about 18 drops. Of course, this is an estimate for daily dosage, not a single dose. This dosage can be achieved by taking 3 or 4 doses throughout the day, with just a few drops each time.

Medical condition, another key factor

Medical history and current health status are other factors that must be taken seriously into account. This includes past medical conditions, addictions, current lifestyle, physical activity, medication use, and any allergies.

An individual’s medical condition serves as an indicator of both the expected level of relief and the presence of any contraindications. Every user’s profile is different, with its own symptoms and expectations regarding well-being. The CBD dosage must therefore be tailored accordingly. Symptoms such as severe pain, chronic migraines, or a decreased libidoare more difficult to alleviate than minor daily stress or a stomachache, and therefore require a higher dosage.

It's best to start with small doses of CBD each day. That way, you'll be able to see how your body reacts, and then gradually increase the dosage until you reach the desired level of relief.
