2018
HighSociety originally opened its first store specializing in CBD in Marseille in June 2018.
2019
In early 2019, Mao Aoust, Founder and Director, opened the brand to franchising, buoyed by the purchasing volume generated through the B2B business.
2020
The brand continued to expand throughout France, reaching its peak in 2020 with more than one store opening per week.
2021
HighSociety is expanding its business by offering a range of specialized products designed to meet the growing demand from tobacco shops. In just one year, the brand has expanded its presence to more than 800 tobacco shops under its HighSociety brand.
2022
The brand has 132 retail stores in France (franchises and company-owned). It also has a presence in Germany with 8 stores, in Spain with 15 stores, and in nearly 2,000 tobacco shops carrying 3 different brands.
Consumers can also shop directly online at www.highsociety.fr, which is available in German and Spanish.
