How do you make and drink a CBD tea?

Many people are currently using CBD cannabis infusions to enjoy their beneficial effects. Is this method effective? What exactly are we consuming? This article answers all your questions!

What exactly is a CBD tea?

To make aCBD infusion, pour a hot liquid (such as water or milk) over fresh or dried hemp leaves, just as you would with tea or herbal tea.

If you want to enjoy a high-quality, completely legal CBD tea, you should make sure it meets certain criteria. For example, it should contain hemp with a high CBD content and be easy to combine with other plants to enhance its effects.

Is this type of herbal tea effective?

Since CBD is fat-soluble, it needs a fat source to dissolve properly, which is why brewing CBD in water won’t allow you to experience its effects. However, this doesn’t mean it isn’t effective; it’s entirely possible to unlock its benefits by brewing it correctly.

To reap the benefits of hemp flowers, it’s best to combine them with a fat source by adding a little milk, cream, vegetable oil, or butter to your hemp tea. The more fat you include in your CBD tea, the more effective the results will be!

Has the quality of my tea been checked beforehand?

To comply with the law, yourhemp for infusions must first be tested to ensure that it contains no more than 0.2% THC.

When you buy ingredients to make a CBD tea, it’s a good idea to make sure the product is legal. You can also check its content of other cannabinoids, including, of course, CBD.

For optimal product preservation, reseal the package tightly and store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

Where does the hemp in my herbal tea come from?

By working with a reputable seller, it is usually possible to trace the origin of the plants and verify the conditions under which they were grown.

Ideally, it is advisable to choose a supplier that prioritizes customer health and environmental protection: in particular, you can opt for products grown in Europe using organic farming methods, which are guaranteed to be free of pesticides and heavy metals.

High Society, our CBD store in France, sets the standard in this area: products are traceable from seed to finished product.

How to Make a CBD Tea

There are several ways to make a CBD tea.

If you have aHigh Society CBD tea, simply let it steep for 5 to 8 minutes before enjoying it.

You can also make your ownCBD flower tea. To do this, we recommend choosing flowers from the variety of your choice and grinding them for greater effectiveness. You can also add them to your usual herbal tea for an extra treat. Bring water to a boil, then let the ground flowers steep for 10 minutes. You can use a strainer to remove the larger pieces if you don’t have a tea ball.

Now all you have to do is enjoy your moment of relaxation.

Test the strength of your tea first

The recommendations are clear enough: even though it has no psychoactive effects, cannabidiol should be measured and tailored to your specific needs before consumption. To consume it at the optimal dose, you need to determine the ideal strength of your infusion. The best way to do this is through testing.

How do we go about this, specifically?

You have two options. The first is to add a very small amount of CBD flowers to your mixture. If you’re using a tea bag (ready-to-use), use less than the recommended amount. Once your CBD tea is ready, drink it and wait an hour to feel the effects on your body.

The second option is best when you need to mix your CBD infusion into food. Simply sprinkle the CBD on top of the dish or use your infusion as a topping.

In both cases, you should pay attention to how you feel in order to determine the right strength of the infusion for you. If you don’t experience any discomfort after the test, you can safely increase the dose or dosage. If you do experience discomfort, you should reduce the initial dose further. In any case, keep in mind that you should gradually increase the dose or dosage until you reach the level that’s right for you.

No therapist can accurately estimate the CBD infusion strength you need. At best, their recommendations will help you avoid any discomfort caused by an overdose. It’s up to you alone to determine the right dosage and the ideal strength for you by testing different potencies.

Can I give this type of herbal tea to a minor?

CBD currently has no known significant side effects and is not addictive. It therefore poses no danger. However, the sale and use of cannabis-derived products are not permitted for minors. It is therefore not recommended to give an herbal tea to anyone under the age of 18. For adults wishing to experience these soothing benefits, purchasing CBD from certified retailers ensures access to products that have been tested and comply with current laws.
