The High Society CBD shop has set itself the crazy challenge of breaking the world record for the largest CBD flower ever grown.
Today, we are proud to announce that our experiment was a success and that we obtained a head measuring approximately 30 cm by 13 cm!
An Extraordinary CBD Crop
Several months ago, we set ourselves the challenge of growing the largest CBD flower ever seen.
To achieve this, special crops were launched in partnership with a leading name in CBD cultivation and grown in the Queyras, a pristine valley tucked away in the Hautes-Alpes. After months of research and discussions with growers and experts, High Society was able to make the most of this pristine ecosystem.
In fact, to ensure optimal growing conditions for the selected “cannabis light” plants, it was necessary to find an environment conducive to the plants’ development. The Queyras region offers this ideal environment. The selected field benefits from an extraordinary ecosystem.
Imagine a field, untouched by humans and free from the numerous fertilizers often used in agriculture. This open-field plot has never been treated with chemical fertilizers or pesticides. The use of organic fertilizers supplied by local livestock farms has always been prioritized. In addition, the field is irrigated by a stream near the plantation. As a result, the field has retained its unique biodiversity and contains all the nutrients needed to grow high-quality cannabis plants in open ground.
The mountain climate of the Queyras provides the plant with an ideal level of humidity, as well as air circulation that helps prevent mold and other problems. In addition, the light is such that the CBD flowers are bathed in sunlight for much of the day.
How do you grow the biggest CBD flower?
This plot of land was therefore perfect for growing our High Society CBD flower plants. All that remained was to find the perfect strain capable of producing buds large enough to set the record. So we consulted with cannabis cultivation experts, and one of them joined us in this slightly crazy project: to grow the largest CBD flower bud.
As for the strain, we decided to cross a Harlequin with an autoflowering Purple. We chose these two strains because their characteristics are ideal for successfully growing our large CBD bud. After months of testing, we finally succeeded, and the first plants have finally been put into cultivation.
And finally, harvest time has arrived! We’ve grown a beautiful CBD flower bud that, at 30 cm x 13 cm, is the largest bud in the world!
